Hawtin Developments purchased a large industrial site in the Wirral, Merseyside from Champion Spark Plugs in Mar 2007. 
Alan and Paul Fernback joined with Hawtin Plc, a listed property company, to make the purchase and use their joint skills to develop the site. 

The site sits on 26 acres, and is a mixture of industrial, warehousing and office space.
